You will work within a close and energetic service team, consisting of a committed Service Manager, a proactive Service Coordinator, and enthusiastic, experienced software (service) engineers. Together, you are the driving force behind innovative service solutions and optimal customer support.

What you'll be doing

You are the key to solving complex malfunctions in machines for customers all over the world. Usually you will work from our modern office in Almelo, but sometimes also on location at our international clients. You see every challenge as an opportunity to make existing software even smarter and more efficient.

 

Mainly you are going to work with Beckhoff (TwinCat 2 & 3) and occasionally with Siemens, giving you the freedom to fully utilize your creativity and technical insight. No two days are the same; you need to switch quickly between providing remote support, optimizing customer processes, and implementing innovative improvements, always keeping the end result and customer satisfaction in mind.

Machine Software fixing

You bring

  • Completed Mbo+ or HBO education (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Technical Informatics, Embedded Software, or similar)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience with programming in Beckhoff Twincat 2 – 3 / Codesys development systems
  • Knowledge of Siemens is a plus
  • Experience in modifying and writing code
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • A service-oriented and solution-oriented attitude; where others see challenges, you see opportunities
