Software Service Engineer

As a Software Service Engineer at IMS, you troubleshoot issues with our machines, often remotely. You work with Beckhoff (TwinCAT 2 & 3) software and ensure that customers can quickly resume their operations. Additionally, you contribute to improvement projects on existing machines to structurally reduce the number of malfunctions.

What you'll be doing

You troubleshoot issues remotely for customers. You contribute to optimizing existing systems and collaborate closely with the original project team. As a member of the service team, you play a direct role in ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Machine Software fixing

You bring

  • Completed vocational or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Beckhoff software (TwinCAT 3).
  • Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Service-oriented and solution-driven.

Your work as a Software Service Engineer

Within the service team, you provide direct support to customers for software-related issues and contribute to the improvement of existing machines. You commission our high-tech production lines at client sites worldwide. This includes calibrating, testing, and optimizing high-precision production lines for peak performance. You work partly remotely and sometimes on-site, having a direct impact on the operational continuity of our customers.
