System Integrator
As a System Integrator at IMS, you are a key link within our multidisciplinary project teams. You are responsible for building, testing, and debugging our high-precision / high-volume production lines. You are part of the project team, actively contributing ideas regarding the electronic manufacturability, setup/adjustment, and service of our machines right from the design phase.
During the assembly and commissioning of our machines, you work closely with our controls engineers. You play an important role in checking, verifying, and measuring the cabling and hardware so that any deviations or malfunctions are detected early and the systems can be put into operation without problems.





What you'll be doing
Together with colleagues from various departments, you handle the actual electrotechnical and (mechatronic) realization of our machines and guide the process up to and including the turn-key installation at our international customers.
You ensure that our systems are built correctly from the ground up. During assembly, you check the correct mounting and connection of all components. Thanks to your strong foundation in electrical engineering and experience with EPLAN schematics, you are quick to identify errors and areas for improvement. You collaborate actively with our engineers, thereby making a significant contribution to the quality and reliability of our machines.
In your role as System Integrator, you are the specialist in the field of industrial field wiring and cabinet walls. During installation, you ensure that all cables and connections are mounted correctly, laying the foundation for the reliable operation of our machines.

You bring
- MBO working and thinking level, acquired through education and/or experience, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Additional professional knowledge or courses in the field of precision mechanical machines
- Experience with industrial field wiring, panel building inspection, and cable management
- Experience with reading and evaluating drawings in EPLAN
- Experience with reading and evaluating 3D CAD systems is a plus
- Knowledge of control engineering
- Experience working within an automated production environment
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken; knowledge of German or another language is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Structured and proactive work attitude with an eye for detail and quality
- Willingness to occasionally work on location at our international clients
We offer
- Attractive salary between € 2,870 – € 4,750 (scale 8, with the possibility of progressing to scale 9 in the long term) gross per month (depending on your knowledge and experience), based on full-time employment
- 32 – 40-hour work week
- With full-time employment, 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days in accordance with the Metal and Electrical Engineering CLA

Your position in the organization
Your workplace is located in our System Integration department. For each project, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of members from various departments. You will work together with mechanical and controls engineers and project managers. Your hierarchical supervisor is the Group Leader System Integration, with whom you will also conduct the annual performance reviews.
